Enrichment Program

Are you interested in Maths, Computing or Telecommunications? Then the Enrichment Program is for you!

Whether you are in Year 7 or Year 12, the Enrichment Program is designed to give you a valuable learning experience through its diverse range of activities.

The program provides students with cryptography, networking, robotics, 3D animation (and much more).

A chance to gain insight and practical experience through workshops and lectures at the University of Wollongong main campus.

Naturally to get the most out of the program you are encouraged to come regularly!

All are Welcome!

Friday Afternoon Engineering Schools

The Engineering Friday Afternoon School commences on July 25 starting at 4:30pm!

The lectures/workshops are delivered by staff and students from the School of Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering.

The lectures/ workshops are run on Friday afternoons after school.

Those who attend are treated to a fun lecture, a hands-on workshop and light refreshments.

You will receive information prior to each event confirming your participation and providing you with further information relating to date, time, location and topic!

Computing Saturday Schools

Want to gain hands on experience with computers? Want to learn how to program? Want to learn how to set up your own network?

Ever wondered how to develop a program for your phone or iPod? Want to know how games are developed for consoles and computers?

Then the Computing Saturday School commencing May 3 is for you!

Presented by students and staff, this program will give you a unique insight into what can be done on computers through hands-on lab sessions at the University of Wollongong.

Light refreshments are provided to all participants.

Mathematics Saturday Schools

Are you interested in decison making, problem solving and logic?

Then the Mathematics Saturday School commencing June 14 is for you!

The Mathematics Saturday Schools are focussed on fun topics related to mathematics and statistics.

Participants will develop an appreciation for problem solving and the role mathematics and statistics play in everyday life.

The importance of this discipline will be examined in the context of computer network security, the genetic material (DNA) which make up living organisms, and many others!

Sessions include lectures and workshops.

Light refreshments will be provided to all participants.
